# Base Camp

Learn to raise your full support, and start raising it before the training ends.

For missionaries, ministry workers, Bible college students, chaplains and church planters who need to become fully funded.

- About **15 hours of live training**, run as two days or four afternoons
- **Four weekly group coaching sessions**

On the last day you will do a real support meeting, and most participants raise more than the cost of the training before it finishes.

## What we cover

Base Camp puts your **heart, head and hands** into God's service through support raising. You will learn what to do, and start doing it immediately.

### Heart: your theology, motivation and mindset

Examine what Scripture actually teaches about ministry support, and deal with the fear and money assumptions underneath.

What this covers

- Reframe common myths about fundraising
- Address fear, scarcity thinking and money assumptions
- Clarify your calling
- Build a small, dedicated prayer team
- Develop confidence that inviting partnership is good and godly

Bible studies include God's ownership and our stewardship, ministry support in the Bible, the joy of giving, and why support raising is not about you.

### Head: your clarity, strategy and plan

The mechanics. By the end of this section you know exactly how many meetings you need, how many calls to make, and what your weekly goals are.

### Hands: practical action and real execution

You will make live booking calls, practise full support appointments, and meet with a real potential supporter to ask. In the room, not afterwards.

## Before you come

Base Camp works because everyone arrives ready. There is about 12-15 hours of preparation to set you up for success.

1. Read one of: *The God Ask* by Steve Shadrach, *Personal Support Matters* by Clare Niclasen and Miles Wilson, or *Funding Your Ministry* by Scott Morton.
2. Complete the pre-Base Camp workbook. Readings, reflection exercises, prayer preparation and practical brainstorming..

You can register up until the day before Base Camp, but register at least three weeks before your cohort to get the most value out of your time.
